Timothy Blaisdell is an Midwest-based composer, living in Kansas City. His eclectic style captivates audiences with innovative approaches to music. His works have been performed and streamed across the Midwest, as well as internationally in cities like Milan, Italy, and Seoul, South Korea.
His passion for new techniques has brought him recognition for his electronic sound collages, improvised chamber works, and game music. He utilizes instruction-music, graphic scores, traditional scores, and conceptual-performance practices among many other techniques to create exciting and unique interactions within his music.
Dedicated to exploring all possibilities of sound and music, he collaborates with local talent, venues, and universities. His collaborative efforts include a partnership with W.E.Cooke, with whom Timothy runs a non-profit publishing company- The Telesterion. His role is Lead Engraver and his services have been commissioned by several composers such as Dr. Caroline Ahn, and Dr. Jeffery Wright, and others.
Timothy Blaisdell achieved a BA in Music from Anderson University in 2020, and a MMA in Music Composition from Butler University in 2024.
